FAQ

Deep Tissue Massage – Frequently Asked Questions

Does a deep tissue massage have to hurt to be effective?

Not necessarily. Deep tissue work can feel intense, but it should not provoke you to tighten up. The pressure should help the tissues release, not cause you to resist.

Many people wait 24–48 hours between sessions targeting the same muscle groups to allow recovery. Some clients go weekly, others monthly depending on their stress or pain levels.

It involves applying sustained pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, with the goal of releasing chronic tension and persistent knots.

Some soreness is common, especially if your muscles have been very tight. But the soreness should feel like the after-effects of a workout—not overwhelming pain.

You should always inform your therapist of injuries, surgeries, or health conditions (e.g. herniated discs, recent surgeries, cardiovascular issues). Your therapist can modify technique or avoid certain areas.

Essential Oil Bath – Frequently Asked Questions

Are essential oil baths safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, when the oils are high-quality, diluted properly, and patch-tested. Because we use premium, pure blends, the risk of irritation is lower, but you should always tell us of any allergies.

Not with the pure, premium oils we use. They’re formulated to absorb well without leaving a heavy residue.

Absolutely — we offer customized blends (e.g. for relaxation, muscle relief, sleep support) and guide you in choosing which is best for your current needs.

We recommend you wait a bit or let the oil absorb first. Rinsing immediately may reduce the therapeutic benefits, especially for skin hydration and absorption.

You can usually enjoy one weekly or as needed for stress relief, muscle tension, or sensory reset—but listen to your body and adjust frequency accordingly.

VIP Table Shower – Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a table shower?

It’s a hydrotherapy treatment where you lie on a waterproof table while multiple shower heads cascade warm water over your body, often combined with massage or scrubs.

Yes — part of the ritual is wetting, washing, and exfoliating your body before the massage stage, to remove surface oils and prep the skin.

Yes — the therapist can adjust both temperature and water pressure according to your comfort, ensuring a personalized experience.

You may get wet, but the table and setting are designed to manage water flow and drainage, so you remain comfortable throughout.

Some conditions (e.g. skin wounds, open sores, severe circulatory issues) may warrant caution. Always inform us of your health background so we can adapt or recommend alternative services.
